We saw the humorous potential during the end credits of the 1st when the emotions went haywire when she was around that boy.     TBH, that would be tiresome. Much like movies about WHITES AND BLACKS JUST GETTING ALONG TOGETHER!!! in the 70s and 80s, there comes a point where being LGBTQ is checking another corporate #WeRaceAsOne box.

    Now, make the little b-tch trans and I AM all on board. That actually puts some stakes into it, and risks their profit margin. And even better, it's trading female for male personal identity, which will make the Left freak out too since it subverts our hierarchy.

      Given the push back they get for even suggesting that a character might be LGBTQ or having one as a very minor background character, I don't think you'll see Pixar going all they way to Trans for a main character and/or as a main plot (which honestly was going to be my first suggestion but knew that was even less likely to happen)

        This is all true. It would be nice to have the truth that sexual preference comes from inside not outside underlined, particularly in a children's movie. So yes I can see it being helpful to kids, and that's reason enough to do it.

        As for the dopes who scream, they do not matter. They are not a valid input into the discussion, either to engage with or even to troll. They are just kneejerk reactions of a ideological tripwire now, they aren't a considered human reaction.

        Make Riley's love interest a conservative Christian girl who has to fight to shed her bullsh-t upbringing to be true to her real emotions inside. Have Jesus approve of her choice, thus resolving her tensions and bringing both her faith and her sexuality into harmony, leaving the bigots out of the sight and favor of God. Go big. Stab the Nazis from the front. Co-opt their fetish.

              Never realized The Maltese Falcon was originally made in 1931 and the one with Bogart was a remake in '41. Got the VCR fired up; TCM is running the original at 12:45am.

                The original is a very different movie played for laughs. Just be warned. It's not horrible, it's just different.

                    I finally saw Little Miss Sunshine last night. It didn’t really connect with me, for whatever reason. The acting was fine throughout, but so much of the plot was very transparent. Perhaps had I seen it 16 years ago, when it was released, it might’ve had more oomph. The best part of the show outside of the final beauty pageant scene was Alan Arkin’s portrayal of the grandfather. He gave the old man more depth than I bet the script writer ever expected of him.

                      Jumanji is a cool movie. I watched both parts and I can say they are both good 8/10. I often watch movies with my family. After reading https://www.firesticktricks.com/free...ing-sites.html , we watch TV together even more often. Of course we love comedy, this is really very interesting for us. Does anyone know of any very new or very old comedies that are really great?
