Pretty sure that was The Rube (he might have used Hoven around here?) and given he's the most stubborn person I've ever met I doubt he's moved off that opinion even still. = ^ p

        You're telling me.

Thank God the U.S. Grand Prix broadcast started just 30 minutes into the Jets game. I could quickly switch away from that horror show.

Here's the thing. I legitimately did not know the score of the game when I clicked the link. Being an engineer, my eyes were instantly drawn to the data table, and I started reading down through the categories:

          Passing 1st downs: 13 vs 17
          3rd down eff: 7/13 vs 7/12
          Total plays: 61 vs 74
          Completions: 26/42 vs 28/41
Time of Possession: 28 vs 32

and I'm thinking....ok, looks like the Jets probably lost this game, but why did Kepler post?

Only then did I see the score.

          Jesus ****, indeed.

If you don't change the world today, how can it be any better tomorrow?

This was almost my progression. Just in reverse. I saw the score then went to the data tables and wondering how the score got so lopsided.

Yup. I remember getting into a roundy round with him over Kevin Hart's homophobic rants. Needless to say that ended any conversations with him.

Don’t worry, the Seahawks offensive line did it.

Nice to see they suck for someone other than Wilson.

                      • So I see that the NFL is holding the report from the WFT toxic environment so that they protect people.

Hm. Not that I mind, but that didn't seem to be a worry when John Gruden's emails were released. The NFL are protecting bad people as opposed to the good ones who came forward- who should be protected by the many laws surrounding whistle blowers.

They're protecting rich people (owners) and hung Gruden out to dry. The American Double Standards are hard, fast, and true.

Goodell "disposed" of all the tapes the Patriots had from camera gate.

                            • Nothing like playing the Lions to make your young QB get some serious confidence. After struggling for a few games, Jalen Hurts looks like an All Pro against the Lions- the offense has scored 31 as the 4th quarter starts. And the D also looks good- they have scored 7 while holding the Lions off the scoreboard.

So yea, the Eagles D is outscoring the Lions O. Yay.
