Hard to figure how to root for the team- should I want them to win, or keep losing to accelerate yet another coaching change? It's pretty clear this dude is over his head being a HC- just like many before him.

And I'm betting many Lions fan would like to see Matt Stafford get his chance at a SB, so should we root for LA to get both? Seeing Stafford do well, it really makes me wish Megatron managed to get traded to a good team- I think he would have won one on a decent team. Took a while but worked for Suh.

There's a Lions fan perspective- there's never "next year," it's about if your best players can find a better home to win the big one.

I think you could still make a case for Peyton if you wanted. Obviously Tom will always have rings as an advantage and now 40+ more games played.

But in other sports the most titles doesn't make you the best player. So I don't think it's the be all end all indicator for the NFL either.
