Tommy Kramer had some great moments, and certainly has sentimental greatness (I still have my youth Vikings uniform costume with the #9 jersey around somewhere). He was not historically great.
Also, I don't disagree with your statement about blowing playoff games. No franchise has lost more playoff games (30) than the Vikings. Yet, I love them so. ; )North Dakota

I don't have a problem with Samuel. Yeah, he had 220 less receiving yards and four less receiving touchdowns than JJ, but the rushing dynamic that Samuel brought to SF was pretty dramatic for them. He had another 8 touchdowns rushing, and 365 yards. This is the most interesting first round of the NFL playoffs I can remember. Even with every team I have the least interest in (Seattle, Jets, Miami) out, there are still a majority of matchups I will watch and care about:
