My favorite Twitter response was in essence that Rodgers has been boycotting the Super Bowl the last decade, nothing to see here.

What's truly crazy with Green Bay, is they have had thirty years of historically great quarterback play. They have been to 3 Super Bowls and won 2. To put that into perspective, Tampa Bay has had one year of historically great quarterback play in the last thirty seasons, and also won 2 Super Bowls.

We can't have that. The shakiness and sweating coming out of Wisconsin would cause both seismic earthquakes and catastrophic flooding that would destroy the upper Midwest.

The Vikings haven't been to a Super Bowl since 1977 not to go too Scooby on the bit.

That probably coincides with the last time Minnesota had historically great quarterback play as well. Coincidence?

Seems to be a theme this year.

                  • It would be funny if the PIT/BAL game ends in a tie as that is the only outcomes that eliminates both teams.

Yes, I'm asking if they blew the 1st pick.

Had the Lions lost, they would have had the #1 pick. With the win, they stayed a 1/2 game ahead of Jacksonville, and will pick at #2.

FWIW, with no game changing QB or obvious #1 pick this year, it probably isn't that big of a deal.

Pitt wins, unfortunately. But wait, there's still hope! If the Chargers and Raiders tie, the Steelers are still out.

No it's not. Cunningham had a historic year in 1998, Tommy Kramer had more than one very good season, Culpepper was nearly the league MVP one year, Favre had a wonderful year in 2009 and Cousins has been a Top 10 if not Top 5 QB at least once since he arrived. If I were to look further I could probably find more. Maybe one of the years with Jeff George. They've lost several home playoff games through the years which = CHOKE.
