Appears he may have taken the title "Assistant Coach - Offensive Line" too literally.
That community is already in the process of dissolution where each man begins to eye his neighbor as a possible enemy, where non-conformity with the accepted creed, political as well as religious, is a mark of disaffection; where denunciation, without specification or backing, takes the place of evidence; where orthodoxy chokes freedom of dissent; where faith in the eventual supremacy of reason has become so timid that we dare not enter our convictions in the open lists, to win or lose.

Said a (now former) assistant coach for a third-tier school who has accomplished what in life, exactly?

Perhaps the country needs to chip in and sponsor therapists for Middle America. For just $1/day, you can help a mediocre white man struggling to cope with the changing times. ;-)

        • Kickoff about 15 minutes away. I went with Ohio State straight up. I think the game will either be Alabama by a couple of touchdowns, or Ohio State will win it outright. Give me Ohio State at +250...particularly after what they did to Clemson.

The last time Ohio State and Alabama met in basketball was 2002. Alabama won 54-48. Will either team outscore their basketball counterpart?

Well, I was going to say something funny when it got to 21-21 just over half way through the 2nd, but OSU could not take advantage of that penalty.

                  So just 21-17.

I really don't see Ohio's D stopping Bama. The fumble was more a fluke than something indicative.

Yeah, this has the smell of Alabama going up 28-17 at half, scoring with the first possession to get it to 35-17, and then trade scores from there. Right now, I would guess something like 45-31 (Alabama) as the final. Obviously, hoping that I'm wrong. : - )

In more important matters, North Dakota and CC scoreless after twenty minutes of action.

I went to bed after bama scored the 4th TD. Unless scoring is the most important thing- this kind of game is just as boring as defensive games with incompetent offenses. There's almost no tension that one team can do anything.

The OSU D never showed up, and that ruined any entertainment.

12 is a way to bridge to 16.

I wish they had just gone to 16.
