      • Georgia is certainly coming out directly with excuses- 10 players are not playing- 5 opted out.

        Go Bearcats.

        • Screw the bowls and give us a real NCAA style 16 team playoff.
          Let's Go Broncos!

I noticed that too. And then a quick mention that Cincinnati is out 3 starters too. Hopefully, Cincinnati can get by without those key starters. : - )

            7-7 early in the 2nd.

Also, why did I think that Cincinnati used to be the Bearkats. Who am I thinking of?

            • With only like 20 non conference games played, this year would've been a perfect year to experiment with a 5 P5, 2 at-large, 1 G5 8 team playoff.

Agreed. I've been advocating for that system for some time. Even in a normal season when most teams play only 1-2 non-conference games against other Power 5 teams, there simply aren't enough non-conference games to truly eliminate at least 1 of the Power 5 champions. The 8-team playoff you suggested accounts for so many of the deficiencies in the current system that I believe it is only a matter of time before we get there.

If Cincinnati beats Georgia, there is going to be a big call to go to that system sooner than later.

                • What a horrible way to finish the game for Cincy. While it's fun to be aggressive, sometimes safe is better- a good run would have left GA very little time to play with. Alas, a long FG won the game for GA.

                  • Really didn’t understand the pass call. A run there is a win/draw scenario. Either you get the first and that’s ball game, or you’re short and leave UGA with 40ish seconds to go the length of the field.

                    • Ugh, Georgia beats Cincinnati on a last second 53-yard field goal (they tacked on a safety on the last play of the game).

                      So far for the SEC:
                      - Embarrassing loss against Oklahoma
                      - Two nail-biter wins against the AAC
                      - Losing to Northwestern

                          • This is the only time I'm forced to watch ESPN each year.

I always forget how spectacularly stupid it is. If this aggro melodrama passes as profound for the gen pop it's no wonder we got Dump.
