I saw them do the River Song Trilogy about ten years ago. They have some of the most devoted fans in music. People will cut limbs off for them.

They did one of the few covers of Sweet Jane that captures the soul of the song.

          • Found a "Women of the 90s" playlist on Spotify. Deeply resisting the urge to sing along to "Man, I Feel Like A Woman" by Shania Twain here in the Alpine Ave Panera Bread.

            • I had no idea the guy who draws the art for Gorillaz was the creator of Tank Girl (Jamie Hewlett).

I had no idea the guy who does the music for Gorillaz was the founder of Blur (Damon Albarn).

              Holy sh-t.

              • So Folklore has been out for a week and it's Taylor's best yet. Was kind of shocked to see Aaron Dessner co-wrote so many of the songs. That caught my eye pretty quickly. The songs are great. You can definitely feel Dessner's fingerprints all over the music.

I love that album. If I had to rank RH albums they would go:

                      A+, Kid A
                      A+, OK Computer
                      A, Hail to the Thief

                            Thurston Moore - Germs Burn
Bush - Bullet Holes (from 2019 but is on a new album released this year)
My Morning Jacket - Run It (this song is gorgeous)
The Jayhawks - The Forgotten Town (so glad they are still releasing new music)
Grateful Dead - Uncle John's Band - Alpine Valley Live 7/17/89 (the greatest Dead show I've ever been to)
PJ Harvey - Victory (this live version is not nearly as subtle as the recorded version)
Heartless B@stards - Revolution (a bit Black Angels, a bit Brian Jonestown Massacre, excellent old school vibe)
Foals - Inhaler (Arctic Monkeys meets Tame Impala)
                            Ambulance Ltd. - Primitive
