His musical gifts are not at issue.

It's very simple: if you are a male celebrity, do not commit to a monogamous relationship. There it is, solved. There are millions of women who will provide you with extremely fulfilling erotic comic relief. Millions who will happily, knowingly, share you. Just don't dick over some good person who has the misfortune of wanting exclusivity with you. Don't lie to and then inevitably betray that woman. How hard is that?

**** you, Ric. Though to be honest you don't hold a candle in talent, importance, or betrayal to the number one.*

    *Thurstron Moore, obviously. DIAF, buddy.
Thurston Moore was such a pompous douche (well,…is) it was hard listening to him in The Year Punk Broke but cheating on Kim is unforgivable.

too bad for many reasons…selfishly I thought Their last album was a top 2-3 LP from SY and I was hoping for more.

New Megadeth LP is far better than I expected. A level of kick-*** that almost rivals Rust In Peace or Peace Sells.

and not to be outdone but here’s Metallica channeling NWOBH: https://youtu.be/_u-7rWKnVVo

    Bye, boys.

    [Verse 1]
    Only death lasts forever
It whispers under the pine branch
Must draw everything into its darkness
Even the sun will burn out

    [Pre-Chorus]
But don't worry, we are with you
One last time, so we sing

    [Chorus]
    Adieu, goodbye, see you again!
You have to go the last way alone
One last song, one last kiss
    No miracle will happen
    Adieu, goodbye, see you again!
I had a nice time with you

    [Verse 2]
    You quietly rise from life
The soul goes on a quiet journey
    Flesh perishes, spirit will rise
The being will surrender to death (Yes)

    [Pre-Chorus]
In the end, you are all alone
But we will be with you

    [Chorus]

    [Bridge]
    Everyone dies alone (All alone)
But you will always be with us

    [Chorus]

Why Dizzy Gillespie was not drafted:

Gillespie did not serve in World War II. At his Selective Service interview, he told the local board, "in this stage of my life, here in the United States, whose foot has been in my a-ss? If you put me out there with a gun in my hand and tell me to shoot at the enemy, I'm liable to create a case of 'mistaken identity' of who I might shoot." He was classified 4-F.

Taylor is going on tour for the first time in years.

Of course Ticket Bastard botched the release of tickets.

Yeah that's pretty cool. FYI Garbage put out a GH called Anthology in October. I believe most tracks are remastered and it includes one rare track that I don't think Garbage released previously themselves called "Witness To Your Love".

At one of the concerts I saw Santana, he had Alphonzo Johnson on the bass. They gave our ears a temporary reprieve with a similar rendition of Cavatina and it was beyond impressive.

I saw them perform this live to finish a concert at RFK in 1982. They were on a bill with the Clash and the Who and Topper Headon and Kenny Jones pulled small drum sets out and joined the 5 Santana drummers, and soloed for what felt like an hour. I don't know that my ears ever fully recovered.
