Down a bit of a 60's rabbit hole today.

If you only listen to one song from this post this is the one: Ramsey Lewis Trio – Another Voyage

The Pentagnle – Basket of Light

The Aynsley Dunbar Retaliation - Memory of Pain

    The Spirit of John Morgan

The Four Tops – Keeper of the Castle

Fleetwood Mac – Then Play On

    Ten Years After

    Sam Apple Pie – Hawk

Billy Preston – Do What You Want

Man, if you're gonna be a SD tribute band you had better be tight.

I can't think of another band whose music requires such exquisite musicianship.

I'd go see them, they are well known in the Dan world. I can't remember there name but you google Japanese Steely Dan Tribute and I'll bet you find another great tribute band with an accent that isn't from NYC : ) Not the same without Walter but if Steely Dan came near me this summer I'd go

Once again, I don't think it'll get better than this today.
