I never got into the Dead and never had the opportunity to see The Allman Brothers. As such, I didn't get into the jam band scene very much. I fixed that problem last week with a vengeance.
Started off the week seeing Pigeons Playing Ping Pong. This was followed by Umphrey's McGee and then The Disco Biscuits. I think I preferred the Pigeons overall but was blown away by the serious musicianship in all three bands."I'm not crazy about reality, but it's still the only place to get a decent meal."
