Would surprise me not if that happened here. Do you know the location?

Google pointed me to it taking place in Brazil.

I'm gonna guess there was zero rebar used for it to shear as clean as it did.

Here's the view from the parking garage:

That’s “Defining possible,” which is possibly the worst defense company slogan since Lockheed’s, “We never forget who we’re working for.” It takes real talent to squeeze 2 grammatical mistakes into just 7 words. (Plus, it’s rather gauche to call out your shareholders explicitly like that...)

If you don't change the world today, how can it be any better tomorrow?

Raytheon had the slogan "Cash is King" in the 90s for about ten seconds until somebody realized how horrible it was.

I still think "We never forget who we're working for" is the most deeply honest business motto in history. It's the equivalent of "I really don't care do u?"

That's awesomely accurate and they should still be using it.

                        • The good news is, prom season is back.
That community is already in the process of dissolution where each man begins to eye his neighbor as a possible enemy, where non-conformity with the accepted creed, political as well as religious, is a mark of disaffection; where denunciation, without specification or backing, takes the place of evidence; where orthodoxy chokes freedom of dissent; where faith in the eventual supremacy of reason has become so timid that we dare not enter our convictions in the open lists, to win or lose.

This reminds me of my first "racism is a REAL thing" moments during my teen years.

Saw a group of hillbilly looking folk at the mall and one of them was wearing a black T-shirt with the stars and bars on the front with "If my ancestors knew the modern world would turn out like this, they would have picked their own damn cotton" written on the back. Even as a rebellious teen, I knew that crossed a line.
