Yeah, when I started reading about the doctors' antics I started thinking, "I'm not sure this reporter is quite capturing the situation." It may be even worse, but as written it's just incoherent.

Read a few articles about them and found this to be enlightening,

During each of the last two Supreme Court terms, with conservative justices firmly in the majority, the high court has reviewed seven cases from the 5th Circuit. It reversed 6 of 7 decisions in the 2019-2020 term and 5 of 7 in 2020-2021.

                    And,
If you thought the appeals court judges would have learned their lesson the first time, you don’t know the 5th Circuit.

                        • Remember the Ever Given, the cargo boat that beached itself crossways in the Suez Canal?

It's sister ship Ever Forward also beached itself, this time, in the Chesapeake Bay.

                            • Overheard while dropping eaves at the airport: college kid behind me was asking/testing his friends about where the phrase, "We the People," came from (don't know why). He was adamant it was from the Declaration of Independence and his friends all agreed with him after the fact.

Worst part is that even though I knew he was wrong, he was so confident I had to double check myself.
