    Raymond Briggs, author of "The Snowman" and other children's books at 88.

    The Snowman was made into a video and has been a Christmas staple in this household for 30 years. I think it's on YT. Just skip the David Bowie version.

        You know there's a "sequel"? Snowman and the Snowdog. Cute but a typical sequel that does not live up to the original

However, compared to the hardline fossils who came before him, he cared about the people.
