You guys are forgetting Dingell’s dad had the seat before him. The district has literally, since inception, always been represented by a Dingell.

He was so freaking good and fun to watch -- in a time before every pitcher was 6-6 he looked about 11 feet tall out there.Last edited by Kepler; 08-06-2021, 01:20 AM.Cornell University

J.R. Richard is in the "What might have been" Hall Of Fame. He was dominant in ways maybe a handful of other pitchers were. Would have been so nice to see him pitch 10 more years than we got to see. He struck out 600+ batters over two seasons in the late 70s at a time when most hitters loathed striking out and batters with 200 were unheard of. My guess is a guy with his stuff today might routinely strike out 15+ batters in every start and if he managed to throw 200 innings in a season today, he'd strike out 400+ easily.

Trevor Moore, 41. Very funny man. Everything I'm reading is just saying "accident."

I thought Richard retired before Ryan came over.
I think of the Astros pitching as being: Richard, Andujar, Dierker, Niekro. Insanely difficult and all completely different.Cornell University
