One of the other two people in the vehicle, a 24-year-old male in the front passenger seat, died at the scene. The 51-year-old male driver was critically injured, according to Orono police. ...

Orono police said alcohol and speed appeared to be contributing factors.

The other young man killed was Sam schuneman who appears to be another former hockey player from St. Cloud area

i didnt look up the exact road but I saw north shore drive. Goes around lake Minnetonka and has tons of twists and curves and isn’t well lit. I’m always paranoid driving there even during the day.

Yeah, our daughter goes we go. Y'all are not remotely enough to keep me on this stupid rock after that, sorry.

My grandmother buried a son, two sons-in-law, a daughter-in-law, and a granddaughter. We're all amateurs in comparison.

She's certainly lived through pain. Appears there was an accident involving two or more at some time? Not my business, of course.

And like people young and old who live in places of high conflict in this world and who have become too familiar with burying family and friends. Always the powerless.

                          Husbands of two different daughters.
Grandma had six kids; she buried the kid or spouse of four of the six.

Edit: I just realized the two of the six where she didn't bury the kid or spouse are the oldest (my parents) and the youngest kids of hers.

Going back three generations from yours and mine, I wonder what percentage of families in the rural midwest have experienced a fatal (or life-changing) farm accident?
