  • Oh I dont read it...but many of the Lefties I follow on Twitter have spent the day dragging Politico for the BS story they put up about Hunter and the Secret Service...which the Secret Service flat out denied.

Axios is no better...since a bunch of old Politico guys are there now.

      It’s so disappointing.

It seems like CNN has completely lost the plot in the last six weeks or so. At least half the time they are complaining about Cuomo or teachers unions. It’s sad to see after they did such a good job over the last few years.

      • It's not surprising. Trump gave them juicy clickbait almost every single day, now they have no clue what or whom to chase. Like my mom said shortly after the election, Trump was bad but he sure as hell was never boring.

Axios was started by a Politico enfant terrible (from Wisconsin!) so I'm not surprised.

RCP is even worse with their "paired article" model.

I got four or five wrong.... noticed a big trend in the locations I was given... empty land and lots of pickup trucks voted for Trump (unsurprisingly).

              • 16/19.

                My algorithm:

                Poor?

If yes: minority? If yes, Biden, else Dump.

                Middle class or rich?

If yes: poor taste? If yes, Dump, else Biden.

It helps a lot to know what cars white, black, and brown Poors drive.

A simpler rule: if it looks like the people living there have more DVDs than books (McMansions, methmansions) then it's Dump unless they're non-white.

Looks like if you see sidewalks in the picture, it's very likely they voted for Biden. I think if you apply that heuristic, you'll score very well (not quite 100% though).

15 for 19. To be fair, Lowell could definitely be mistaken for an Ohio Valley Dumpsterville (sorry UML folks).

                      • I did relatively poorly. But everything I got wrong was guessed correctly less than 23% of the time. So I'll take my B+ on the curve.

                        • I used (height of trucks+% of rust+# of cars in yard^2)/(#of hybrids + foreign manufacturers)

if no cars, height of grass.

Yup, it's amazing. They used to be a lot easier but I think the algorithm now excludes obvious clues like state road signs.
