    6: 1
    7: 2
    8: 1
    9: 1
    10: 1

Tonight takes the cake though. The others were all to playoff contenders. This was a home game against the (then) last place team in the league.

He's 1-12-13 and a -32 on a team that until recently was shaping up to finish about .500, so LOL nope.

            • Apparently there’s a free livestream of the Minnesota High School tournament so I’m watching Minneapolis v Alexandra. Some thoughts:

Minneapolis has some All Hockey Hair Team contenders, Alexandra was pretty lame.

I understand the reason why (suburbs, cost, private schools) but it’s still weird seeing the largest city as an underdog (especially compared to Alaska where Anchorage dominates nearly everything at 4A).

Demographics play a part too. It is a cooperative of all seven MPLS high schools to get the numbers needed. Almost all come from two of them, though. Southwest and Washburn. These are the two largest MPLS high schools and are located in the wealthiest part of the city.

Even so, it is great to see the city in the tournament again after a 28 year absence. Hopefully it continues. Dziedzic is doing a great job there.

That's until the lawyer coach discovers the lines were drawn wrong and the star player should actually play with the poor kids!
