EDM should look into getting the NY's goalie- he pretty much stopped twice as many shots as they put on the Pen's net, and won.

      • US gets by Kazakhstan 3-0. That’ll put them into the top four of Group B thru three games.

Also, the city of Riga has been flying the Belarus’ opposition’s flag (along with all other participating nations’ flags) during the tournament. The IIHF said they need to either put up the official Belarusian flag or take down the IIHF flag, so Riga is taking down the IIHF flag.

Sadly the IIHF leadership has been of the “Putin Puppet” variety for years.

I don't think I've ever seen Wayne on TV except for the presser, SNL, and that murderous 30 for 30. Is Mr. Jones any good as a on-air personality?

To be fair, most international organizations have a prime directive against any political statements. Riga absolutely did the right thing both to begin with and in response.

Brave AF, given their history. The equivalent of Cuba telling us to suck it.

Haven’t seen him much, either. The responses I read make him out to be very dry, which could work if they surround him with others that have more personality.

                  • Kazakhstan does it again... takes down undefeated Germany 3-2. Their first regulation win of the tournament.

                      Only when he’s drinking apparently.

It's too bad Nursultan Nazarbayev is such a piece of Dumpian crap, because in addition to apparently now being great at hockey, Kazakhstan is gorgeous. It's basically the Alps without rich Euro twats.

                        • Kazakhstan isn't great at hockey, they're running their KHL team as a national team and riding a hot goaltender. Pretty easy to look good when nearly everyone else is running a C-Team at best.

If everybody else sucks and you're winning then you're good.

This is the principle behind the US women's soccer team.

                              Also, **** Lukashenko.

What a great lineup Comcast is gonna have for their Outdoor Life Network coverage of the NHL! The 2005-06 season is gonna be lit!

What's that? *checks watch* It's 2021? Where the **** did they dig these three up from? Could they have found anyone more removed from the sport?

Where's the Kevin Bieksa's and Patrick Sharp's... you know, guys who retired while Trump was in office, and not those who retired while Clinton was in office.
