  • This new NBCSN scorebug is interesting. Looks like it's made for baseball.

Also an odd move since the network won't exist in a few months and NBC won't have hockey after this season. So they went through the trouble of a new graphics package that will basically be used for one postseason.

I really hope that is the new baseball graphics package, because the local NBC Sportsnets haven't been updated in years.

        • And what game was on national TV last night, with a bunch of fights and trending all over social media?

          New York v Washington.

It’s almost like they planned this…

            • Seriously? The Rangers should instead donate $250,000 to a traumatic brain injury center instead. What is the NHL going to do if they refuse to pay it? Or - every other club that has had players injured due to that POS should chip in for the fine and make it known that they are doing it.

              • The NHL is a joke.

They should just merge with the UFC and call themselves the On Ice Division.

                        It's not the GAA.

                        It's the SvPct.

                        • Save percentage is easy, that’s just zero.

He played a shade over 12 minutes, it works itself out to a 19.41 GAA. Not ideal.

I didn't want to have the "should we keep Blashill or not" discussion. Mostly because I don't really know my answer to that question. But hopefully the Wings get the first pick!

                              • I consciously chose to continue watching the Mets losing by 6 runs in the 8th inning of a meaningless May interleague game rather than move my eyes 5 inches to the right and watch my team in overtime in a Stanley Cup playoff game against a rival.

The NHL did it. It killed my interest in pro hockey. Raise a glass to freedom.
