    I’ve got a lot of sarcasm on these posts, too. I don’t really think they would punish for a clean hit- heck they don’t seem to care about protecting their superstars.     I sure hope not. Think of how the game would change if they let rushers in the middle of the slot and you *had* to be careful to hit them. That's exactly why players went wide. The play has slanted enough into the offensive part of the game.
