Tinordi(2nd game as a Bruin after being waived by Nashville)gave him a pretty good thumping though.

Once I'd heard he got called on the carpet it was gonna be at least 6. Can't figure why he does that shyt because he's a decent player. Still a pos though.

This is his FIFTH career suspension, and second longest. He was previously suspended for 20 games in 2018 (reduced to 14) for a lesser play. At that time, those four suspension were racked up within 105 games played.

What ever happened to increasing the fine for the same bad play? Shouldn't it be at least assigned to 25 games?

I never understand the players association defending players who go out and physically hurt their own members. I know they are a union and all, but shouldn't they also defend the player who had to go to the hospital due to a head injury? With all of the evidence of concussion and brain damage, perhaps the players can start looking at themselves, too, instead of the NHL, since they are the ones decreasing the penalty for causing these career risking injuries.

If Wilson is ever traded the Caps will put him in the hospital. He's garbage. Ulf Samuelsson, Marty McSorley, Todd Bertuzzi, Matt Cooke, Bryan Marchment, Dale Hunter, Chris Neil, Tie Domi, Bobby Clarke, Rich Pilon, Tiger Williams, Scott Hartnell, these guys are all just wastes of carbon, even -- especially -- the ones (Clarke, Samuelsson, Williams) who had talent.

If I were to write a "Reverse Stanley Cup Final", a one game loser-take-all match to show who's worst in the league, would there be any interest?

I normally do the Bottom Feeders in D-1, but that is on hiatus this season.

It's a long way to go to get Detroit another title.

Mostly in the 3rd period. And while talent will help- at this point, just focus would go a long way.
It is funny(?) that I think the defense is actually their strong point. If there is a strong point a 7-16-3 team can have. If they could fix their powerplay and never give Bernier a game off they could be dangerously close to mediocre. ;-)

I kind of agree that it's good. For 55 min. Or at least good enough for those 55 min.

                        7-19. Don't enable the NHL's percentage inflation.

Agreed. Plenty of last second goals allowed. There is going to be plenty of things wrong with a seven win team. Every loss builds up to a better future. Unless the NHL decides Pittsburgh needs a new player. ;-)

Kepler: I used to care, but they are still losses. We know they are losses. :-)

I was gonna pull a well ackshully on this because usually wins are inflated and a lot of OTL used to be ties, but turns out the Wings haven’t gone to a shootout at all.

Since shootouts aren’t going anywhere we need to adopt the three point system so things are actually logical and all games are worth the same.

                            • NHL officially going back to ESPN next year!!! As a Wings fan this makes me irrationally happy. There was always something missing with the NHL on the various NBC channels.

                                I much preferred NBCSN.

                                ESPN is just so awful.
