US beats France 9-0 to go to 6-0 at the World Championships, setting up a first place in Group A showdown against Sweden (unless Sweden loses to Denmark tomorrow) on Tuesday. Switzerland is also 6-0 and has clinched first place in Group B (and honestly looks like the favorite right now).

US beats Sweden 4-3 in OT to take Group A. Kind of hard to decipher what happened because any discussion have devolved into a Swedish salt mine over “dirty American play”.

US takes first place in Group A and will play either Slovakia or Latvia for the inevitable quarterfinal loss.

Between Benn their captain being a dumb*, a Otter forgetting how to play goalie, and the fans tossing stuff on the ice and causing a period to end early I don't think I've ever seen a bigger meltdown in the playoffs.
