It would be hard to pick 4 less interesting teams (interesting for me at least)

Pretty sure the Wild draw on a par with most teams in the playoffs even with s**t start times, and no teams draw "monstrous" numbers.

Looking at it again, you’re right. Germany is 0-3, but they’ve played the top three teams to open up play. Odd scheduling draw where it seems all
the top teams in the group ended up playing eachother in the first three games (minus US Sweden).

Russia being banned really throws off the balance in this. If it wasn’t for Slovakia getting really good all of a sudden, Group B would only have two legit contenders.

I’d look out for the Swiss in Group B too. They’ve got a good lineup and sounds like they’re adding Fiala too.

No Russia is definitely exposing the gap between the Big Six and the other countries though.

              • The vote on the Coyotes arena in Tempe is today.

Wonder how quick they’ll be in Houston if it fails?

I am surprised they didn't go into it together with ASU. Not only would that be smart but it would be an excellent opportunity for politically-connected real estate crime, which is an Arizona art form.
