Arizona obviously is snowbirds. Maine & New Hampstah I get because of the ex-Black Bears who've played big minutes for Detroit or been in the Wings' system in the last decade (Howie, Nyquist, Renouf, probably others I'm forgetting). Did the Wings used to have a minor league team on PEI or am I missing something? Even if you get past the fact that Vermont is more rabid about looking up old stats on the Nordiques than looking up the Bruins/Canadiens/NY teams, how does Nevada end up with the Flyers?
