DACA is a program that the Department of Homeland Security created a number of years ago. When Trump took over, DHS decided to end the program that they had created. However, in typical Trump administration fashion, they had no real idea as to how to correctly do that, so they screwed it up. DHS had the legal right to end DACA, as I understand it. It's just that the law requires them to do it in a certain way, and to make decisions on it based upon something other than just an arbitrary reason.
That was the Supreme Court case, iirc. The Supremes agreed that the Trump administration didn't go about ending DACA in the correct way, so the case was sent back.
Now, presumably Trump's DHS wants to continue to try to get rid of DACA, and the question will be whether they can figure out how to do it correctly. In the meantime, they have to address pending applications under DACA, future applications under DACA as well as those people who are in the program and want to apply for an extension. I think that's what the memorandum referenced by the tweet you link to addresses.
I don't know that the Supremes said you can't get rid of DACA. Now, maybe there is some technical piece to that memorandum that somehow violates the Supreme Court order, but I assume if that's the case a court somewhere will be asked to address it.That community is already in the process of dissolution where each man begins to eye his neighbor as a possible enemy, where non-conformity with the accepted creed, political as well as religious, is a mark of disaffection; where denunciation, without specification or backing, takes the place of evidence; where orthodoxy chokes freedom of dissent; where faith in the eventual supremacy of reason has become so timid that we dare not enter our convictions in the open lists, to win or lose.

To me the it looks more like the EC screwed up by not putting the Green Party candidate on the ballot in the first place."It's as if the Drumpf Administration is made up of the worst and unfunny parts of the Cleveland Browns, Washington Generals, and the alien Mon-Stars from Space Jam."

For all the reasons the Federal courts turn down cases this late in the election cycle to not sow confusion, the state court should similarly not get involved now.

No I agree 100% but to me the EC should have known this was a possibility because the WI court is 100% political. They were going to find a way to screw up the mail in voting one way or another and you handed them an easy one. Make them die on the hill for Kanye dont hand them a plausible decision on a silver platter.
Plus it isnt like they are doing it for the right reasons...the Dems on the EC are trying to keep the Green Party off the ticket to avoid 3rd party voting since that is how Trump won WI last time. (Stein votes were higher than the margin of victory) Sorry but that isnt right. They would be throwing a [bleep]fit if a conservative was left off the ballot for an address issue so they are being completely disingenuous.
There is no way this ruling should stand though. I mean you are basically guaranteeing the Military from WI cant vote. That alone should make it unconstitutional. At least the people there now can find a polling station active duty members are screwed."It's as if the Drumpf Administration is made up of the worst and unfunny parts of the Cleveland Browns, Washington Generals, and the alien Mon-Stars from Space Jam."
