First of all, under no circumstances should a 15 year old possess a semi-automatic firearm, least of all a handgun. The maturity level necessary to respect the killing power of such a weapon simply isn't developed for most at that age.
I got my first gun at 14, but it was a 20-gauge single barrel shotgun and I was not to so much as remove it from the locked cabinet without my dad present to supervise. He also kept the ammo separately locked up under a different key.Comment
