This is the kind of stuff that will be endlessly replayed as indicative of this period, like Orval Faubus. The Right are Nazis and Jihadists.

    • The same people who freak when someone tries to celebrate a religious holiday that isn't theirs, right?

      Pathetic.
I gotta little bit of smoke and a whole lotta wine...

The amount of people who mention that in the comments is pretty hilarious :^)

            • If this doesn't scare everyone into voting for the Democrats...

.@RepMattGaetz: "We are going to take power after this next election. When we do, it's not going to be the days of Paul Ryan, and Trey Gowdy, and no real oversight, and no real subpoenas. It's going to be the days of Jim Jordan, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Dr. Gosar, and myself."

                Congressman Jamaal Bowman @RepBowman
$770 Billion to the Pentagon just easily passed the house 363-70. I voted No. It is astounding how quickly Congress moves weapons but we can’t ensure housing, care, and justice for our veterans, nor invest in robust jobs programs for districts like mine.

                • North Carolina’s congressional maps are going to be challenged in court, which pushed their primaries back a couple months in the process. Maryland Democrats make a half-hearted attempt to challenge the lone GOP congressman in their midst with their redrawing of the map. Meanwhile, it appears New Mexico Democrats will indeed complete the potential 3-0 sweep of the state. A small victory in a sea of GOP-dominated gerrymandering.

Not surprising. It’s not so much a question of if we lose the House, but by how much.
In an interesting twist, maybe orchestrated by Trump in his bid to become SOTH!!!!, Renee Ellmers announced she wants to **** McCarthy again by running for North Carolina’s 4th district.

In spite of being previously endorsed by TFG, she lost. I don't think he will endorse her again after that, and I don't think she's sufficiently Dumpy enough to win a primary. She lost in 2016 because she waffled on a couple of abortion bills, which with the laws in TX and MS working their way up to the SCOTUS is now an "all or nothing" issue for R voters.

We're so dumb. Unilaterally disarming in a fight against Nazis.

Make it a national law or fight fire with fire.

The next Civil War should be fought to make federal law absolute and supreme across all elections. National standards for everything. Fumigate the Criminal States.

And whole we're at it repeat the 2nd cuz don't let the blood be wasted.

Or just, you know, kick them out.

How do you propose Democrats pass a national law abolishing gerrymandering? We’ve been ****ed since 2010. We never had enough seats with unilateral control to redraw this time around either. When I first posted about it back in August, it was something like 185 seats for the GOP to redraw versus 85 for Democrats. We never had a chance.

You may well be right. It was a poor attempt at a double entendre.

                                I don't.

I propose that until we have a national law, and a Court that supports it, we gerrymander every Nazi incumbent out of existence.
