        Good question.

From this table I would argue the following 15 lower Houses are unwinnable by the Dems (worse than 1:2):

        AR
        ID
        IN
        KS
        KY
        LA
        MO

        OK
        SD
        TN
        UT
        WV
        WY

OTOH, these 7 are unwinnable by the GOP (better than 2:1 ratio)

        CA
        HI
        MD
        MA

          Short term variance.

Long term direction is quite clear.

If D's aren't declared election winners by the time the 11pm news airs, it's still way too close and the Nazi's can absolutely take control legally.
It's not SAFE, but it still "works." The Right is in a vicious cycle, literally: they shrink --> their mean is more vicious --> they shrink -->

This doesn't mean we can be complacent, we have to keep fighting just as hard as we did in 2008, 2012, and 2020. We can't take 2022 off.

But it means the road is rising to meet us. The Nazis are fighting demographics; that's why they have to abandon democracy. They literally cannot win a fair election anymore, so they have to end elections.

Those are mostly places with large populations of voters from one party.

I mean like Michigan or Wisconsin, where the Dems are either winning or closely contending the popular vote every time, but cannot win due to gerrymandering. Wisconsin, for example, the Dems won 53% of the vote in 2018, but only received 33% of the lower assembly seats.

I am assuming those places will eventually fall. Court rulings throwing out the more obscenely unconstitutional cheating. It will take time, of course, but there is a path anyway.

The difference is, conservatives can plug their nose and vote for some seriously far right ans dangerous people. The Dems won't do that.
