Not even sure if it passes without the filibuster. Manchin and Sinema may not like them that enemy gubmint types getting their own Senators.

      • Sinema tweeted about Earth Day and got dragged because she voted against the Green New Deal. She is truly hated on the level of most GOPers.

Doug Collins, a defender of Donald Trump and a former U.S. congressman, said he would not seek statewide office in Georgia in 2022, a setback to Trump’s hopes of fielding a strong, experienced Republican candidate for Senate or governor.

              • Today is the day the Census Bureau releases its topline numbers, which will set the stage for the next decade of gerrymandering for Congress, but still mostly under GOP control.

Should be interesting in Minnesota, as the state is likely to lose a rep.
That community is already in the process of dissolution where each man begins to eye his neighbor as a possible enemy, where non-conformity with the accepted creed, political as well as religious, is a mark of disaffection; where denunciation, without specification or backing, takes the place of evidence; where orthodoxy chokes freedom of dissent; where faith in the eventual supremacy of reason has become so timid that we dare not enter our convictions in the open lists, to win or lose.

                      • MI was expected to lose one and did. Interesting to see MT gained one. AZ was very close and missed out - I wonder if they will end up gaining two seats after 2030.

And again, I don’t need to be lectured on how we don’t want an R in that seat. I wish he’d stop grandstanding on these idiotic trains of thought
