Never thought I'd see the day where I thought Liz Cheney was sane. The GOP moves the bar further and further to the right and everyone pretends that Biden's a socialist. I got bad news for everyone. Biden is center right. He's not center left. Nixon was leftier than Biden.

You know the saying that when you’re accustomed to privilege, any move towards equality feels like oppression? There's a corollary - if your politics move far enough to the right, everyone else looks like a Marxist.
It works for moving too far left as well (go full tankie and everyone else looks like Pinochet), but there aren't any extreme left movements really gaining ground at the moment.Comment
