Needless to say, players and fans aren’t happy.

Man this RSL story is moving fast, the radio interview with the owner was only 3-4 hours ago.

So RSL owner Dell Loy Hansen made the comments. Players and fans are rightly PO’d. DLH then (reportedly) fires 40-50 game day staff and kicks the players and staff out of the training facility. Now it’s heavily rumored that MLS itself may be stepping in and taking over the team because the players at RSL are now publicly talking of not wanting to play.

I just turned around and walked away, and left the conversation… I just walked away. I couldn’t even deal with it.”

Thankfully the MLS Constitution and it’s section on transferring ownership is public knowledge... due to a lawsuit against Dell Loy Hansen
