So the USMNT beat Uzbekistan and Oman in friendlies, Uzbekistan 3-0 and Oman 4-0.

People were unhappy about the Uzbekistan result (in fairness the US didn’t have a good game) but that same Uzbekistan team just drew Mexico 3-3.

Inter Miami did, predictably, increase their ticket prices for next season. It includes the field level suites being priced at $45k. Predictably, the press is running “INTER MIAMI WILL HAVE THE MOST EXPENSIVE TICKETS IN ALL OF FOOTBALL!!!” headlines. The Europeans on r/soccer are going “OMG, the Americans are getting fleeced! Capitalism strikes again!” Meanwhile, the discussion on r/MLS is a more sane “Outside of the ridiculous field suites, most tickets are in line with other places in MLS.”

I don’t watch the PL much but it’s hilarious reading the news about the Liverpool-Tottenham match and the very obvious referee screw up. It’s been very obvious that England has been very flippant in their attitude about VAR and the protocols and whatnot so it’s not surprising to see it finally bite them.
