                  • I don't see Wrexhams fixture in there? Weren't they given auto promotion? ;-)

Also, Ben Foster is returning for 1 more season as their keeper.

                    • What is the highest Wrexham can actually get to, assuming the current funding *never* stops? Can they get to Level 3? Can they bootstrap a bigger grounds to larger revenue to get them to Level 2?

Also: what range of levels would MLS clubs fall into after say 10 years of pro-rel? Anybody above 2 or below 3?

Wrexham can make it to the English Football League (2nd tier) if the investment stays steady and they can put money back into salaries. They just need to be smart with how they spend as a mega contract that doesn't pan out can be a killer.

MLS teams are somewhere between the bottom of the English Football League (2nd tier) and top of League Two (4th tier).

Wrexham as-is can easily be a League One team (tier 3). After that funding and income need to get bigger. Because player costs skyrocket.

                          • I went googling and there appear to be about 7,000 teams in the Great Britain soccer pyramid. In comparison, there are 1,400 college soccer teams in the US, and 25,000 high school football teams. I have no idea how to count the professional and amateur non-school soccer teams in the US. Based on 300,000 players in the AYSA and USL... 10,000?

Over there "Semi-pro" teams on the lower tiers are probably equivalent to what HS football is here... Every town has a team... It's just that some are better and have more resources than others.
