  • With the release of the Gold Cup schedule, US Soccer now has their Summer slate set.

Kind of neat that we get US/Jamaica here in Chicago, but I will probably skip out on that match. I honestly see more emphasis being placed on the Nation's League Semi against Mexico the possible final less than 10 days prior to the start of the Gold Cup. Still contemplating flying out to Vegas for that US/Mexico match. It'll make for a fun 36 hours...
It's never too early to start the Pre-game festivities

    Go Cats!!! GO BLACKHAWKS!

Cuck the Fubs... Let's Go WHITE SOX!!!

You live in the US. I think you can safely type the words “Manchester United”.

                        • That's not a reason not to have it, though.

I love the idea of Pro/Rel in principle, but I can see the practical argument that all it does it set in stone 4-6 teams that will always dominate and make it terrible like the EPL, La Ligua, Serie A, and I guess Eredivsie or whatever it's called.

But the vision of Bob Nutting's and James Dolan's investment being utterly destroyed due to their vileness and incompetence is sooooooooooooo attractive.

                          • The argument that no one will watch lower tiers doesn't make sense to me. People are already watching those lesser league teams.

The worst attended USL team still drew 6000+ on average.

                            • People love the idea of promotion.

People love the idea of relegation for other teams.

It’s the rest of the stuff that goes along with it that people either don’t like or just gloss over in their arguments.

The facts say that is a lie.

The highest attendance for a USL League One team, the third division, was Forward Madison at an average of 3843 per game.

For the USL Championship, the second division, the lowest average attendance (not counting an MLS 2 team) was Miami FC at 1162. There were 15 other USLC teams below 6k
