San Jose's Jeremy Ebobisse accused NYRB's Dante Vanzeir of using a slur during the 54th minute. Played stopped until the 72nd minute. Vanzeir stayed in until the 87th minute. After the game MLS put out a statement that there will be an investigation.

TBF, the player accused is Belgian.

If you look at the video and the player’s reactions it’s pretty obvious something was said. Ebobisse isn’t known as a fiery kind of player either.

The AppleTV Wrap Up show had former referee Christina Unkel on and she explained that the VAR does apparently have access to the TV mics and was trying to find out what was said but couldn’t, that is apparently a major reason for the delay.

It looks like to me Robertson grabs his arm and the guy tries to shake it off. But it’s always gotta be the referee’s fault, especially in England.

Brighton is coming over for some sort of tournament. In the planning stage to go to NY to see the Giants/Mets the first weekend in July but might switch that up to see Albion the end of that month. Don't really care if it's meaningless but it's probably the closest I'll get to seeing them other than the Peacock network.
