    We have to sweep.
A sweep and it's going to be quite a first 100 days. Massive gun control legislation that will eliminate mass shootings. Green new deal. No more income inequality. Medicare for all. College debt crisis eliminated. Cops whipped into shape. UBI and reparations, or do those come during the second 100 days.

    No excuses anymore.
That community is already in the process of dissolution where each man begins to eye his neighbor as a possible enemy, where non-conformity with the accepted creed, political as well as religious, is a mark of disaffection; where denunciation, without specification or backing, takes the place of evidence; where orthodoxy chokes freedom of dissent; where faith in the eventual supremacy of reason has become so timid that we dare not enter our convictions in the open lists, to win or lose.

I think this topic was discussed prior to the election. You make an excellent point. That said, I’m okay with majority rule, regardless of party. I think the filibuster is perverse in nature.

2/10. You need to email Sicatoka Collins or joecct they are much better at this than you.

The filibuster is fine in its purest nature...but like everything else people are awful so they make it awful.

Right now, yes it is. I am not against finding ways to fix that issue too. I don’t think the filibuster is the right solution to that problem. Abolish the Electoral College too.

I am pretty sure it won't last if the GOP expels the Trumpers...but watching it with nothing invested is just so damned fun. He never minced words anyways but good god now he just really lights them up!

That's a good way to describe it. Schmidt realized what he had been working for and is obviously feeling really guilty for helping to empower Nazis. He's also obviously really angry with his erstwhile friends and colleagues for maintaining the fiction for greed and power.
