And I'm holding on because in two of the homes I work in, we have a confirmed case.

            • My second cousin through marriage has died of Covid I heard yesterday. He was 29 years old. His lungs filled up, they put him on the table for some sort of surgical procedure to clear his lungs and get him breathing again. He died on the table.

He was overweight, and not vaccinated.

              GET ****ING VACCINATED.

There is about a two-week lag between the new case curve and the morbidity curve, right? If we peaked on 1/14, the death rate should peak around 1/28.

That means we still have a week of the death rate climbing, though...

                      • yeah unfortunately, deaths reported are typically 2-4 weeks after occurrance. In MA, cases are plummetting. Hospitalizations should start decreasing next week, and deaths a couple weeks after.

                            EU predicted 60% IINM.

Is it unprecedented? It sounds like the common cold (except it kills you if you're vaccinated). Is that all colds are? The mutated remains of ancient killer viruses whose morbidity dropped to 0.0 as their transmissibilty approached 1.0?
