            According to their data- https://coronavirus.health.ny.gov/co...akthrough-data being vaccinated is just under 90% effective at preventing going to the hospital over time. For the week of 12/20, 2 hospitalizations per 100k for vaccinated, 30/100k for unvaxxord.

            Shocking, I know....

              Given the odds, it's cheaper to do that than cancel entire flights. Especially if they offer a postponed travel date. There are FAR more angry people now than just the ones who would be turned away with healthy flight workers.

                                Well after the self-reported vaccination status hovered at 72%, 73%, 84%, and 92%, for my company's 4 US locations, they finally decided to mandate vaccination (including boosters) for all ~2500 employees -- including fully remote employees. Everyone has to submit documentation proving they're fully vaccinated or their employment will be terminated sometime next month.

                                Since I'm fully remote, I hadn't been in any rush to submit my updated vaccination card that shows my booster, but I just uploaded it now.
