Why is this your hill to (maybe actually) die on, dude? What are you gaining?Last edited by Kepler; 08-06-2021, 11:55 AM.Cornell University

Not to mention there are children who struggle to wear masks and therefore can't participate in normal everyday activities. I have personal experience with that and I'm done with it.
Knowing that healthcare workers have been wearing them forever, especially dentists, there's plenty of people out there who have been wearing them prior to this pandemic- and without issue.
Just saying they don't work without why isn't all that helpful.

This pandemic was never going to kill everyone. Just like Spanish Flu, or the plague. Both had people get infected and have no reaction.
What we are trying to do here is to prevent as many deaths as we possibly can. Just like for air and water quality.

Its just so strange that the people who whined the loudest about no lockdown, open things up, let's get back to normal, won't do the smallest little things to make that happen.
Wear the ****ing mask. Get the vaccine. And quit your crying. You ain't nothing special. What kind of cheese are you planning to put on top?

I never said masks don't work. But just because you have no problem wearing one doesn't mean I have to agree. When you live on earth for 30+ years without wearing a mask and then are supposed to wear one at all times no matter where you go it's comical to dismiss people who have had enough and just shrug off wearing a mask as no big deal. If that's how you feel about it, more power to you. And I already talked about children who struggle to wear masks which has directly impacted me. I don't have to give you or anyone else more details about that.

Don't jump to irate conclusions based on your insecurity and laughably thin skin.
