    • Also, Nazis kill.

For nearly three weeks Belgium's leading virologist has been living in a safehouse with his wife and 12-year-old son, guarded by security agents.

While scientists across the world have come under attack throughout the pandemic, the threat to Prof Marc Van Ranst is more serious than most.

He has been targeted by a far-right rogue soldier, Jurgen Conings, who has a vendetta for virologists and Covid lockdowns. The military shooting instructor went on the run with rocket launcher and a machine gun, and Belgian police cannot find him.

Great post by the Board Covid Quack ^^.

Void of any reason, information, context or ability to think even a little bit. Seems like a theme for the CovidZombies.

Very fitting you were anointed board expert for the CovidIsRelgion contingent here on USCHO.

In my opinion, this unrecognized avenger belongs in a psychiatric hospital. Whether someone believes in COVID or not, this is not a reason to kill other people.

Man, the Democrats are really going all out on this COVID hoax. Trump must really scare the child molesting satanists that run our government for them to invent such nonsense and bring the rest of the world in on it.

                • We're not going to get to 70% before July 4th. Very disappointing.

The article your just posted did point out that this virus is going to kill a lot of stupid people. Who knew that they would be included in that list?

What is the most amusing is that we've been berated by "open things up" since last April, and it's been very consistently been pointed out that the faster we stop the virus (in whatever way) the faster we will open up. And just as consistently, the people demanding that things open up have done the least to stop the virus- and it could be argued that they have done things to just keep it going.

Having seen some posts on the cruise board, the idea that people will avoid exposure while this is going on is very, very, very factual. Once the cruise line baild on requiring vaccinations, lots of people canceled their trips. Just like has been warned about since last April.

Just being open does not mean that things are 100% operating- they will just operate to those who go. Which seems great for people like hovey, but how long can your favorite things run at less than 70%? Concerts, airplanes, resorts, etc are packed for a reason, and it's not only about greed.

We will have a Summer of "fun" again, and by Oct/Nov COVID will be back in full swing among the non-vaccinated. COVID is never going away. I know you don't like the idea of letting DARWIN do his thing, but at this point its about all we can do.

Give people their Concerts, Sports, Vacations, etc. Those of us that are vaccinated will be fine. Those that aren't are playing Russian roulette.

                        • Monday, MA reported 89 positive cases. That has to be the first time the number has been under 100 since probably the very beginning. How are other states doing?

It's amazing news, but Sunday/Monday is always the lightest day of the week.

That said, vaccines work and this is 10000000% evidence of that, as the state is back open and things continue to improve.

I've seen as few as 40 or so in Maine, generally in dbl digits. people over 60 are all in on Vaccine here, 70 or 80%
