    Just like the flu, right?

The good news is that they do believe she will be able to walk again some day with proper PT and OT.

    Keep the masks on, folks!

      • This is outstanding news! I was hopeful that the rather onerous processes involved would be lessened as we move on - we had options to test a million different ways of storage, transportation and efficacy... or test quickly and thoroughly on a single, golden path and get it released quicker. We made the 100% right decision, but I'm very glad that we're now testing whether or not "non-standard" methods are still effective.

Got my second dose at 8AM yesterday. My arm was a little sore this time, and starting yesterday afternoon I started to feel a little "off" but nothing significant. Id say today I feel a little fatigued. No fever or significant muscle aches.

              • Went to a specialist appointment today. As I was waiting for elevator, an old man pushing his wife in a wheelchair were ahead of me. As a courtesy, I stayed out of elevator to wait for next one. Covid and all.
guy says I’m welcome to come in, so I did.
he then says “we’re not afraid. We’re not democrats.”

                    • Buffalo Sabres defenceman Rasmus Ristolainen told Finnish publication Ilta-Sanomat that COVID-19 has severely hampered his conditioning.

“I've had every possible symptom. It got really bad at times, but I'm still kicking. From what I've heard around the league, no-one has had it the way I have. My oxygen levels had fallen badly and doing anything at all resulted in immediate exhaustion. After a couple of days, the symptoms eased and I thought I was getting over it, but soon enough I was having more chest pains and other symptoms.

At times I was in a very disturbing state. When I had chest pains and I walked up a flight of stairs, it felt like my heart would split. A couple of times when I went to sleep, I wasn't at all sure whether I'd wake up in the morning. I'd just hope this wouldn't be it for me.... Right now I spend most of my time asleep. I go to bed at 8pm. After 12 hours of sleep, I feel like I've slept for 5 minutes. During the day I go to the practice facility to exercise a bit, then come back home to sleep. It's not the ideal situation but there's nothing I can do.”

Yet, here they are kicking after an entire year of the, once in 15 year plague that we experienced last Spring. Sounds Scary. Or as Covid Wedding guy said above, Dangerous.

Of course in reality, it is neither.

                        • People actually listen to this Buffoon to be informed?

                          The WH’s Covid adviser,
@aslavitt46, is asked why Calif., still in lockdown mode, has numbers that aren’t better than a free state, Florida. Slavitt: “There’s so much of this virus … that’s just a little beyond our explanation”

What a complete moron. I would assume that people that buy into non-sense like this Charlatan is spewing, it has to be demeaning to suspend all critical thinking, reason and common sense.

A flimsy cloth mask prevents respiratory viruses, and we didn’t discover this until 51 years after we put a man on the moon. Amazing.
