        False.

Even if everyone wears a masks it is impossible to contain the virus and that’s if they worked very well. Since they probably provide little or close to no value, Goggles provide an extra layer of protection.

Don't be part of the problem. #GoggleUp

The posts were short but he managed to do it all with a sarcastic dry sense of humor. Last night he posted they had told him there was nothing more they could do for him and he wasn't going to make it. He died sometime after that with the night nurse holding his hand.

It wasn't as if he was very close to us but reading the updates, the struggles real time made it very real. 3 weeks ago he was redoing his garden and planning to come here to get some perennials. Now he is gone. Pretty sure it is because he went to dinner (outdoors). Is dinner worth it? or nails, or a haircut or anywhere else that isn't really essential?

This disease sucks. And people who want to minimize it, twist things to pretend it isn't real or who don't give a rat's a55 about the possibility they could cause someone to go thru this... I can't even. So indescribably sad.
I'm so sorry for your loss, les. I saw the post on Facebook - a friend of mine is also friends with him and he shared it. So very tragic.

Additionally the average Swede is healthier than the average American making them less likely to bring into it underlying conditions.

Careful. Pointing out American’s aren’t healthy is walking a fine line here at #TopNotchScience

Thanks. He was something else. Had known him since I was in undergrad. The fact that he could post saying his goodbye is just surreal. It was like the last drop that overflowed the bucket. Now I can't stop crying. It is up close and personal but it brings home this is being played out hundreds of times a day with families needing to deal with the loss, the fallout and aftermath. I ache for the nurses who are holding the hands of the dying, having to comfort the families and most probably not managing to be with everyone who is dying. The thought of it all is overwhelming.

Yep. They are healthier on every account, and their gov polices are huge helps to driving that

Yup only way to be healthy is to have Government hold you hand. Just throw your hands up in the air, “nothing I can do for myself.”

                        • This is welcome news. Headed in the right direction.

As you can see, we peaked & dipped back below the epidemic threshold for 18 Jul. 40-50% of the you have seen reported over the last two weeks have been legacy data laundering. Only a couple states are transparent about this. Please note that lockdown deaths are rising.

This is an important threshold measurement. Because the way Covid is being measured it could go on forever, even more so they way legacy data is being used. I don’t understand the intentional miss use of data?

                          • While, as of July 18th we had a reserve of 12,400 under-reported legacy cases to draw from - over the last two weeks we have laundered ~5200 of those cases as if they just occurred. This leaves a balance of 7,200 cases which can be laundered in the coming weeks.

A few days ago, I posted about the number of days over a couple of weeks that were over 100.... IIRC, it was all but one from 7/8 to some other date...

Well, now it's every single day from 7/7 to 7/26. And 7/6 is 96. 19 out of 20 days of over 100 deaths.

I wonder how long it will be until one of the adjusted dates is over 150 and then over 200?

And all they have is an advisory. No actual requirements.

With the hurricane coming, it's going to get worse, as of yesterday, there's only testing available in 12 counties, the rest close yesterday and will stay closed until 8/5. I'm sure people will jump all over the significant drop in cases for the next few days.
