I have no issue with staying home or masking up...I wont lie though as soon as I get the jab (and wait the allotted time) the GF and I are getting out of here for a few days. I have no reservations about wearing a mask in public until the doctors say it is ok. Seriously outside of having to talk a bit louder it never bugs me and when I wore it in a casino it blocked out a lot of the smells ;^)

Mrs. burd and I plan to drive down to Nola to see our daughter and her partner in April. We will each have had both shots plus allotted time before we leave. We will not dine out, as we usually do down there, and we will observe protocols with them because they are not vaccinated, but it will be nice to get out of town and not feel as exposed. It's a nice time of year to be in Nola, even without Jazz-fest, which is later in the month in normal years.Originally posted by Handyman View Post

My dad just got his shot. Took 2 minutes from walking in the door to shot in the arm. Sadly they ignored me but oh well with this type of efficiency I am not worried.
