I’m going to unload some questions that have been rattling around in my head for a few weeks now. Not directed at you, just asking the universe.
4-6 weeks to create, how many weeks to ramp production?
What happens to the existing doses?
What happens to people who have already had their vaccine?
What about people who have one dose?
Can we double up to get the variants at the same time? Would it be a single “configuration” to get both or just go after the dominant strain? Or would you get a cocktail?

THis sounds very similar to the H1N1 scenario when we were already giving one vaccine and they figured it out. Curious to see if anyone knows the answers to this.

Have my appt scheduled. PSYCHED doesn't begin to describe it. I am licensed in MA and NH. NH emailed me, and within a day I was sent link to schedule. I have 2 licenses in MA and have heard crickets. I get we have a bigger population in MA but that cow country can be more organized than a State with cutting edge medical system is kinda scary. The mr is very hi risk and works for the State system. He can't get anyone to answer what the plan is and he is calling people at a pretty high level.

Is it too much to hope that this wakes people up to the fact that capitalistic medicine is a big fail? Was shocked to my toes to hear one of the previously died in the wool Dumpers in the fam go off long and loud about him mismanaging things.

I'm surprised your Mr's employer hasn't contacted him.
Anecdotally, someone I know that works in sports medicine for Notre Dame posted his pic to social media with his vaccination record, having received his first dose this week.

Not only is there nothing from his employer, he has contacted them, contacted the people running the whole system, the health clinic and a bunch of other people and nothing.
