The Wall Street Journal explores the fact that nearly all football coaches are fine, upstanding, honorable conservatives, politically; with a glaring lack among their ranks of limpwristed, socialist, Obama-loving liberal weenies. In other words, Democrats make crappy coaches. Is it true of other team sports, which are all obviously more about playing war than community building? Or is this interesting only to me?
Huskies are very intelligent and trainable. Huskies make an excellent jogging companion, as long as it is not too hot. Grooming is minimal; bathing is normally unnecessary.

Coaches tend to be those "make your own fate" types and as a result tend to hold conservative beliefs... I'm sure this thread will go nuclear and will have 50 posts by late afternoon but you just have to look at those types of attitudes.

What a surprise, nearly all football coaches are middle-aged white dudes.

              Question is, why is that?

Partially due to inherent racism for some collegiate programs and even the NFL.

                The percentages are beyond skewed.

hmmm. Post #8, 9:34. Thanks for helping me win that bet. Really though, do you think coaches are hired for their race above any of a thousand other factors? Really?

I know some coaches are specifically not hired because of their race in collegiate football. Can you say a single white coach has had that problem in the NCAA or NFL?

Well, I'm sure there's a white colored coach that wanted Lovie's job that didn't get it, but I won't make that charge. I think it's stupid.
My view, after 10 minutes of consideration is that personality-wise conservatives make better coaches because they tend to feel more sure they are right, and are less likely to put up with dissent from their charges, and success in team sports relies on such dictatorship. In any color.

Is it just a conservative mantra to not actually read what I said? Do you think a guy who wanted Lovie's job and was white wasn't hired because of his race?

I've met a ****-ton of liberals who are so sure they are right it's unbelievable. They also refuse to put up with any differing opinions and act like dictators.

You honestly think it has to do with political affiliation? Give me a break. Liberals are a-holes just like conservatives, ego driven, refusing to concede power and acting like tyrants.

No. I was extending your charge of race-based hiring in a new light to point out the idiocy.
