the other thread was ejaculated quite prematurely and never germinated.

Funny joke once. After that... it's more sad, like watching Fox. Ignorant people are dumb, yes, we get it.

Actually, I've seen plenty of evidence that intelligent people can also be willfully ignorant by choosing to ignore inconvenient information that contradicts their self-image.....

                    1. Yes, I realize that old joke is old and I should have come up with something more creative.

Try working short-cycle rotation shift (swings this week, mids next, days the week after).
I did that for a couple years running a nuclear facility.

Per the discussion of personal credit scores far reaching impact in China due to phone based payments...

Because of target marketing. Companies have determined that some customers are more valuable than others...a decade ago Best Buy famously said we're 'going to be firing a lot of customers'. They got in hot water for that.

There is something called share of wallet and consumer lifetime value. Sophisticated companies know that rich, free spending and loyal customers are super valuable - and one's that refer business. All of this can be indicated via 'personal credit scores'. Whether there would be a backlash in this country, its hard to say...but every savvy business would love to get their hands on this.

                            Interesting.

As another way to f-ck the poor I'm sure American business will take to this with the gay abandon of an alcoholic in a brewery.
