    Teach men from birth women aren't their property. Right now many of our backwards subcultures do the opposite.

    Punish men who act that way anyway.

    Shame those who think it's women's fault.

    In other words, the same way we decrease other rotten behavior: shame the boorish and prosecute the criminal.

    But to do any of that we first have to recognize the extent of the problem and for that I recommend having the legislation and arbitration done primarily by women. Women get it. They may feel they have no choice or even that it's some silly man in the sky's will, but they get it. Men don't.

        I'll simplify this and generalize it even more. Teach people that other people are in fact, people. Teach us all to respect others as equal no matter gender, skin color, religion, or prosperity level. Get away from the "me first" culture and learn to be adults in a civilized society.

          So you answered your own question. Why don't more women come forward? Because it's difficult. And what makes it difficult? Many things, but among them are attitudes that women who do come forth are doing it for personal gain and women who don't do it in a public way are "just writing it off". No, it isn't simple, easy, or painless. But you don't need to have or express attitudes that make it more complex, difficult, or painful.

            It would help if religion didnt treat women as second class...and an entire political party for that matter.

              Evangelicals in Alabama for example. Evangelicals probably were a large percent of the 53% of white women that voted for Trump. We can start there.
