Listened to a Doc from the Ukraine where they are having an outbreak that dwarfs ours. They have whole classes from some medical schools who are antivaxers coming out with misinformation. If it were just the idiot adults- YAY DARWIN!! but it isn't just the adults.

That’s the kind of **** that should get an aggravated assault charge for every person in the theater. Plus medical costs tacked on.

It honestly shocks me away we don't have that here. Presumably nobody has figured out how to monetize it yet.

They would lose accreditation and that is money.

I meant schools cropping up just for that purpose, like Christian "colleges" that exist just to spread nonsense about evolution or abortion.

60 Minutes had a story on Frontotemporal Dementia. Might be the scariest thing I've ever seen. I don't want Alzheimer's and this stuff is worse.

Is there something you can do to minimize the likelihood of developing the condition?
That community is already in the process of dissolution where each man begins to eye his neighbor as a possible enemy, where non-conformity with the accepted creed, political as well as religious, is a mark of disaffection; where denunciation, without specification or backing, takes the place of evidence; where orthodoxy chokes freedom of dissent; where faith in the eventual supremacy of reason has become so timid that we dare not enter our convictions in the open lists, to win or lose.

So I went in for a routine checkup today and I got to see the MRI and CT scans I had taken a few months ago. Turns out my spleen was larger than my liver and was about 4x its normal size. It extended down past my kidneys. All of which was pretty dramatic according to my doctor. I wish they shared these images with the patient on their electronic charts. So cool to see my guts.

I'm just the opposite. You can watch your colonoscopy onscreen if you want. I took a pass.
