Here comes the centrist/right wing brigade. Your ring leader just said he didn't care if it was true or not, so why does it matter that it is actually true?

ESPN just needs to know when to be quiet. They made the same mistake trying to get in front of the Erin Andrews tape and ended up causing more trouble for her.

He's still doing a game, so I have zero ***** to give. They obviously didn't fire him.

LePage is a moron. Maine was the most pro-Union state and contributed the most soldiers proportionally to its population.

The responses on Twitter are absolute gold. My personal favorite: Did ESPN also confiscate his horse?

    Apparently true.

ESPN ISSUES OFFICIAL STATEMENT: “We collectively made the decision with Robert to switch games as the tragic events in Charlottesville were unfolding, simply because of the coincidence of his name. In that moment it felt right to all parties. It’s a shame that this is even a topic of conversation and we regret that who calls play by play for a football game has become an issue.”

There was already an official conclusion, but since you've said yourself that you don't care whether something is true or not, then why bother?

I was looking on Twitter to see if it was true or not, I didn't watch their segment. It's a story about whether a sports channel moved a commentator or not, not exactly important stuff. I'm just happy to see ESPN get negative publicity.

The obviousness is starting to get pointed out (why it took this long for this to drum up interest I'll never know):

The right is doing *everything* they accuse the left of doing, because they're trying to draw attention away from their problems.

    Hillary has involvement in Russia!
    Hillary's insecure private email servers!
    Dems hack voting machines!
    CNN is #FakeNews!
